我上本科是好多年前的事情，当时的dean已经退休，目前还在单位工作，他比较熟悉我
的情况，我可以从他那里得到比较详细比较好的推荐信，而现在学校的dean,很年轻，
我完全不熟悉，估计就算有推荐信也就是个泛泛之作，在这种情况下，我可不可以提交
前任院长的推荐信呢？因为毕竟在我当学生的时候他才是dean啊。这种情况下，还能盖
学校或者院长的公章吗？
或者在签名中写上：former dean during 19XX-19XX?

发帖数: 27 | 2 I think Dean's letter is not a recommendation letter. It is called MSPE now.
Kind of like a transcript. I think it is more important that it is from "
Dean's office" than written by Dean. But that is only my thought. I might be
wrong. |

这个program好像比较看重推荐信，所以我在想一封好的推荐信是不是很重要。

发帖数: 1295 | 4 Dean's letter is not a recommendation letter. As mentioned above, it's
called MSPE (Medical Student Performance Evaluation). You can find many
templates on line and then you'll know what it covers. It should bear a
signature from the current dean. MSPE is not mandatory for an IMG. |
