Have been suggested to enter the program earlier, but still feeling not so
ready to jump in the ...
All I've been thinking about recently is to drive aross U.S.A during June, before the residency starts, and have my 30's B-day when I am on the wheels...Anybody here with me?
I know that it's stupid, but I just cannot stop it :( | L********8

当年我prematch时是冬天， 出来后给家里报了讯就不知道该做什么好了。车子是租的
， 还有个把星期左右， 就在highway上看到几个年轻小伙和姑娘开着suv，车上面顶着
雪板往北走。好帅。我那时没滑过雪， 一想去滑雪也挺好， 就一路跟着开， 到了威
州的一个雪场， 租了雪具， 上了两个小时beginner lesson. 本来只订了一个小时想
学个基本的入门就够了。 coach是个college女生， 长的很pp, 滑的更没说的。于是很
WS的要加时。她带我绿道上下了两次， 她在前面倒滑，一路指点。 当时看的我很惊讶
。 接着就自己上山折腾开了， 玩了三天， 无数次的仰卧起座后敢从黑道上下来了。
当然还是磕磕碰碰的。 那时觉得挺得意的。 多年后看一个同事山上断了手下来， 遍
寻名医。 （左手是我们这行吃饭的手）休了六个月才敢用它。才知道自己当年如何无

发帖数: 473 | 9 哈哈，这个猛，highway上看到雪板就跟着开。滑雪是很危险，我以前美国朋友的朋友
，滑雪滑掉半边脸，做了整容手术后接着滑，很专业。我也滑过几次，这种刺激是可以
让人冒生命危险。现在当妈了，不敢再滑了。

发帖数: 32 | 11 I did this 20 yrs ago. KOA, State Parks,Motel6 all the way.
Boston to the Key west, all the way to LA, then Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore and Thousand Islands and back to Boston. We took showers over KOA to save money and camped out on the state camping grounds. Instant noodles plus home made Jerky to fill stomachs. We put 20,000 miles on the car. You should see the guy's face at the car rental.
Crazy years. Young and restless. Now, all I love to do is to watch trees grow.
