经过郑医生的努力，一些医生愿意提供outpatient observership的机会。虽然很多医
院并不认可outpatient observership为美国临床经验。不过对于我们来讲还是一个熟
悉美国临床系统，常见疾病，以及医学名词的好机会。一方面为将来的inpaitient
observership打下一定基础，更容易留下好印象；另外一方面也是建立自己的人脉网络
的小小一步，说不定因此您就能够得到更好的机会。
下面是链接，有意者请注册。我们同时也在搜集接受observer的医生的资料，过一段时
间会发给注册者，双方可以互相选择最合适的(时间/地点/专业...)。这些医生都在纽
约。

“Volunteer opportunity” at NYHQ or Lutheran Medical Center Observership往
往时间比较短暂。做Volunteer是在observership外了解美国临床系统的另一个机会，
你可以有机会接触护士，医生，听临床讲座等等，收获多少，部分在于自己把握。感兴

1: pass USMLE step1
2: Must be taken seriously, no unexplained absences, lateness or no-shows.
3: Task include but not limited to: Medical Interpreter trainer – must
bewilling to serve as interpretersand liaison between pts/families and
healthcare staff; may have to performduties as messenger, transporter, etc.
4: Bilingual a must: Mandarin and/or Cantonese a plus
5: minimum of 1 month, no maximum
6: all shifts available, morning, evening and night (overnight); weekends
This is not a formal medical observership…but you should be able to
participate in rounds if you are not needed at the medical unit you are
assigned to. It’s more of a geographic rotation and not a clinical

I have an observership course in Mount Sinai in Miami Beach, FL, in May, I
hope to find a partner to share a room for one month,from May 1 to may 30.
Is there anyone who had same course? Or anyone who had been there before,I
appreciate you could tell me more information about there. Thanks again. |
