发帖数: 954 | 1 还有没多久就要考MCAT啦。现在对verbal 心里很没底。一般成绩在8-9分。10分大概有
过几次。想听听各位大虾的建议。先多谢谢了！TRP 的hyperlearning verbal
workbook做的成绩通常还行，EK101错的惨不忍睹, 全真题做过两个AAMC 3拿了8,
AAMC8 拿了10. 但是这两套真题的passages我看了都很眼熟，曾经做过的。
(1) 还有一个月， verbal 还有可能提高吗？
还要继续坚持做题，复盘吗？、
还是就直接放弃verbal, 专心学习Physics和Bio?
如果说放弃verbal, practice verbal 的频率以多少合适呢？比如就只做真题里的
verbal?
(2) 读passage前，先看一下问题，有用吗？
豆角说不管用。我试过了。也感觉不太有用。
有的时候，读了问题，再读passage, 反而有distraction.
而且如果先读问题，每个passage, 总是还要多花40秒到一分钟的时间。
但是有的时候，从问题中抓到一个关键词或者人名，在读passage的时候就可以格外注
意。

发帖数: 494 | 2 I think u r looking for the advice of the strategy of last month, right?
Putting your efforts on V or P/B really depends on what are your scores on
every parts.
If you already have >=14 on P and B, try to review GRE reading strategy from
new oriental school and "hong bao shu" which helped me.
If not, definitely work on p and B. I got 15 on P. So 15 is doable. And
more than 8 in V is enough for most of med schools. Of course, more than10
will be better. Although some med schools asked for 10, you will find that
tons of people got accepted with 7,8 later.
BTW, if you got 8 in any AAMC which you have done, I am not sure how
predictable it is. U may not be able to remember questions, but when you
read the passages again, you would pay attend to the contents which have
been asked in the questions.

final month.
Right now my Physics scores are around 13, I am not worried about that.
My Bio score ranges from 8-11, which gives me space to improve.
Taking extra verbal practices are very time consuming. For example, it
usually takes me 3 hours to finish and review a set of EK verbal. If the
time spent on verbal cannot improve my verbal from 8/9 to 9/10, I would
rather spend the time on reviewing Bio contents.
Right now, my goal for MCAT is 30-32. And a verbal score of 8-9 is what
I expect, unless I am super lucky on the test day.

12+8=35, decent, right?!

最後一個月你怎麼看v都不會提高了，不如把時間花在準備science上。
V你是看不快還是看不懂？看不懂沒辦法，看不快的話扔掉最後一個arricle，有足夠時
間做好前面的，最後一個article做好全部選c的準備。
臨時最忌諱亂抓瞎掰。該幹嘛幹嘛，不然看看英文報紙也比在這浪費時間好。 | b*******s

Verbal 我现在基本能看完，就是常常miss main ideas. AAMC的好像main idea还清楚
些。
EK101 有的时候main idea 很tricky.
最近常常静不下心来看书。看着要交给老板的paper 发呆，一个字也写不出来，呵呵。
一会想，快写
paper啦，一会想，要不早点回家看书？汗一个！
恩，要少灌水，多看书啦。大家监督。

发帖数: 1879 | 7 你是miss掉而不是misunderstand那還是速度問題。一緊張心裡素質很容易臨陣崩潰啊
。我的建議就是一開始做好最壞打算扔一篇的，這樣你壓力沒那樣大，不會慌神看錯。
搞不好這樣最後反倒都能做完。
Paper這個不是要緊的deadline就拖拖把。你還要在那幹一年呢。來日方長。

发帖数: 1879 | 8 最後一個，無論如何v你怎麼放閱讀不能扔，你每天就算再忙只讀半小時也行。真題不
能不做。做真題一定要掐表，讓身體習慣reading pace，一個小時雷打不動不能停。盡
量在你考試安排的時間段做這些，這段時間內不要吃東西盡量不要喝水，儘量讓身體提
前習慣
其實這都是當年考gre的東西，但估計你也不記得了。給個提醒。
具體你隨便去寄托太傻的gre版找兩個備考心得看。或這usmle也行。 |
