发帖数: 30 | 1 先说说本人情况，2004年国内临床医学本科毕业，三甲医院做住院医一年，来美国流行
病学硕士毕业，现在在大学医学院的外科做临床研究，职位是research associate,老
板是外科医生加faculty。
现在工作三年，觉得这样下去就是再做十年也是个research associate，工资再长十年
也就六万多，而且钱不是问题，但主要是永远是给医生打工，觉得很憋屈，自己的人生
好想就这么慢慢消磨了。
本来2009年就下决心要考board，但后来怀孕了，也就懒了下来，现在孩子一岁了，也
一直没动力准备考试。而且家里好像也不是很支持，老公说不需要我赚很多钱，把孩子
带好就行了。我一直也怕考试然后做住院医会太忙没时间照顾孩子，孩子这几年，从1
岁到8、9岁会不会就这样被我耽误了？老公工作很忙，根本没时间接送孩子。
版上有当了妈妈还考board的姐妹吗？请问你是怎么平衡事业与家庭的关系的？我的性
格一方面很要强，不愿意一辈子这么给别人打工，但一方面又有惰性，总找借口给自己
，可能也是拿孩子当借口的。
以前好像看到一个两个宝宝的妈妈还考出来了。请有类似情况的姐妹来谈一谈。

together.
Hire a nanny to do the home chores. Consider this as your investment in
yourself. You spend your precious time play with your kid. Most people
send their kids to day care before 1 or the latest 3. You will have a full
12 hrs/D for study without giving up any of your quality time with your kids
. 8am to 6pm. And 8-10pm after you put your kid to bed.
It is really up to 2. It is a lucrative career. Yet it is very stressful.
By the end of the day, it is you who walk the walk.

much to hire a nanny. If you decide you want this, quit your job and study
full time. It is the perfect timing for you. You have good LORs, working
experience, speak good English after 4 yrs in the US.
Do NOT drag your feet anymore. Get on board!
Start to look for OB opportunities. Read the JINGHUA section on Step 1:
Kaplan notes, First Aid, and UW.

跟我家小朋友说起自己那时看书的情景，他坐在旁边玩，告诉他钟走过半小时叫我，我
自己乘机看半小
时书，3-4岁的小孩，再长时间就坚持不了了。时间就这样半小时半小时挤出来的。
有个师兄说过，MATCH只是个开头，现在上班了，才体会这其中的意义。压力和工作强
度其实是随着年
限越来越大的。
如果是自己喜欢的专业，那么就面对困难；如果不是，那就不说了。
