s******t 发帖数: 579 | 1 Yesterday, I went to that center for my only advanced-neuro IV so far. When I was waiting for my next interviewer, I got a chance to talk with a very nice Chinese postdoc working there and forgot to ask him for his contact information. If you happen to see this post, please let me know your contact and I need to ask you some questions about the program and good luck to your application! Thank you!
About the IV:
Nothing new about the whole IV process. It is a medium-sized community hospital affiliating to Seton Hall University. The faculty members are all very friendly, asked only one medical question (if you see a pt with headache in ER, what will you do?), Most of the time, they let me talked about my research, introduce myself, why choose that specialty, a little bit about my hobby, let me ask questions (I think they like insightful questions which I did not prepare a lot of them.), my little USCE......They all said that I have exceptionally strong research background, but did not say they will rank me high or something like that. There were 3 candidates yesterday, the young AMG talked with chief resident almost all the time, other candidates hardly had chances to speak with the chief resident. I felt I am a little quiet and dumb.
The program provides supportive teaching environment, very friendly faculty members, and medium work load. They strongly encourage their residents to involve in research work. It locates at a relatively safe area...... | g******e 发帖数: 389 | 2 it seems you were doing well, stardust. congratulations. may ask them before
