的工作，他们那里有类似medical
assistant 的工作，可以shadow那里的physicians。我还有被问到会不会抽血。我觉得
是很好的机会了解美国的医疗体
系，可以建立connection，对以后的工作也会有帮助。现在早早准备，明年如果找到
residency不会乱了手脚。我自己也
很喜欢帮助underserved populations。
负责相关工作的医生在度假，要两到三个礼拜才回来。她回来之后我再和她联系。具体
做什么还不知道，等开始了我再写
些具体的事情。 |

住院医到这儿取点经？我也联系我家附近by email， 一点回音也没。不知道是否是方

发帖数: 96 | 4 先打电话，没人接，就亲自上门，填了表，两天之后接到电话安排interview ，所以今
天就去了。今天面试我的人并不负责临床相关的事宜，事先也不知道我是想申请和临床
相关的工作，知道我有medical background 后一个劲道歉，我都不好意思了。其实是
我的不是，在education 一栏中，要求填最高教育，我填了个Ph.D，其实Ph.D不相关，
应该填medical school，这样他们能知道个大概。我告诉了她我的目的，因为有过先例
， 所以她一下子就知道了，说可以安排我shadow physician，做类似medical
assistant的工作。我们交谈了大约15分钟，整个过程很愉快。
提醒一下，如果有interview，在交谈中不要忘记提及很想帮助这些群体，否则会给他
们只是找clinical experience 的印象，所以我特别提了一下在free clinic 工作的意
义。因为也是发自内心，所以说起来不困难。 |

发帖数: 96 | 7 No I have no idea what kind of positions are open. I was willing to try any
positions that is patient related.
Someone from Tibet worked at the same clinic before and she shadowed the
physicians there and also built a
connection with them. Probably because of this, as soon as my interviewer
found I went to medical school, she
said I could do the same thing. I was very grateful!

This the one of the websites that you can find the free clinic locally.
However, there are some independent free
clinics all over the country as well. Try to google free clinic and the city
name. You should get a list of the free
clinics locally and their contact information.

其实一个个打电话问就好了，
free clinic人乌央乌央的，忙不过来很需要人帮忙的。
那个诊所volunteer管问诊体检开药，attending管过目一下签字，我看的还吓了一跳。
。。。当然很多只是来拿药的。 |
