wks ER rotation, 1 mo path rotation, and 1 mo rad rotation, 1.5 mos rad
research, Ph.D. graduate next May, Grad year: 2003. Master of Surgery in
China in 2006. Several publications.
Cons: F1 visa, failed CS in ICE once. | l********y

able to find a descent program.

ICE可能会稍微有点影响，但不大。

发帖数: 219 | 7 同意山东人说的， 纸面实力相当强了。今年很有希望。
IV少， 有可能是以下三个原因：
1. 申请得太晚。 Certificate 年底才出来，iv都发完了。现在越来越多医院要IMG材
料齐全才能申请。不齐的话人家可能连材料都不看。今年：把材料弄齐，坚决第一时间
申请。
2. 推荐信有问题。 会不会是信里面写了些不够强甚至是负面的东西？今年：多和推荐
人沟通， 争取弄几封很强的MD推荐信。
3. CS failed.会让人对你的沟通能力产生强烈的质疑。但是这已是既成事实，可以做
到的也就是在其他方面增强， 还有在MD推荐信里吹一下你和病人的良好沟通能力。

BTW, match next year, Louzhu can get Ph.D degree.
Ph.D degree is very important for GC application.

for:
1. PS writting, dont write anything that will kill u application
2. IV skill, really need time/experience in US to improve
3. Live up to the expectation, meaning u have to have something match up ur
on paper strong creditial, in person/IV
Be well prepared and you have a good chance to get into a good program .... |
