发帖数: 120 | 1 I plan to pay a second visit to a program I interviewed last week, but I am
not sure what kind of things or people I should request to see, what kind of
questions I should ask (not repeat what done during the interview time),
Sorry for the ignorant qs, i just need to be enlightened. Anyone can give an
idea? anyone had the experience can give a hint?

发帖数: 2770 | 2 my LD went for a 2nd interview just because last time she did not meet all
the persons who make decision,and that is after couple of months, and this
is the program my LD really wants to join. Ask yourself first,some really
bad program let you wait a whole morning and only meet you for 5 min and
then ask for a 2nd interview, do you really want to join that one? if so,
prepare some topic, know more about the PD, and so on

Yes i like the program. The thing is that the PD didn't meet anyone during
the interviews, and the iv was very short, pretty frustrated.
Any more comments will be highly appreciated!

发帖数: 196 | 4 我有2个面试都受到second interview的邀请。一个是让我自己决定要看啥，还有一个
是home school的，他们给我安排，我就不用费心了。
外地的那个本来是准备去的，后来由于个人原因改成conference call了，昨天刚刚结
束。这个program我本来就是很喜欢，面试的时候和PD，还有别的faculty谈得都很愉快
，面试结束后PD就发电邮邀请我再去看看，其实该见得人我上次也见到了，但为了加深
他们对于我的印象，还是决定再去谈谈。本来的打算是早上先去病房看看， 中午参加
grand round，然后和住院医吃中饭，下午meet 一些上次没有见到的faculty。后来改
成conference call了，就是和几个faculty电话里谈了谈就是，感觉不错，只可惜这个
program离家太远，如果就在local，那就太完美了。
个人感觉，如果喜欢这个program，尽量再去一趟，否则他们可能会认为你没有兴趣，
不一定rank你很高了。
安排上你可以先问问他们一般是咋样安排这种second interview，如果他们让你自己决
定，你可以问问可不可以去病房shado
