But Goljan says in polycystic ovarian syndrome, increased estrogen positive
feedback on LH and negative feedback on FSH. Aren't those contradictory?

Low level of estrogen does inhibit LH and FSH. But the high level of
estrogen will stimulate LH release. That's why the LH surge happened before
ovulation. | R**********n
