训，一般来说要有绿卡（H1 机会很小，J1 拿不到letter of need 而且还要waiver),
所以我想通过申请phD进入美国（好像别的学位都没有全额奖学金）。
但对于临床医学专业的学生，我还没有发现申请phD的优势（和生物及基础医学专业相
比），所以很难拿到全奖。 事实上我校02级加03级临床8年制申请到全奖去美国的不超
过学生总数的5%（我是05级的），至少北大医院现在只有两人。
而我又得知我校毕业生里（1977至2000级）有40%在国外，且大多数在美国，仅获得美
国执照者就占毕业生的15%以上。
以上两数据有很大的差别，所以我很想问在海外的师哥师姐：你们是通过什么途径出国
的？如果申请学位，临床专业的学生申请到全奖的机会有多大？申请什么专业比较好（
PhD, MPh or others）？ |

怎么申请形式这么差了？我们当年申请如果没结果，第二年基本也有结果了。
你们现在T,G都考多少了？
人数少是肯定的，现在国内医生收入多，大部分人都不愿意出国了。5%这个数字挺可靠
，我们也就是这么多，还没有我中学同学出国比例高。

的，一个是嫁给了本校研究生，另一个是嫁给了清华帅哥。

ical medicine and related major are mostly practicing medicine in China, lik
e my classmates, 60% are still working in the hospital, a few went to compan
ies, several switched to basic medicine research and got PhD degrees (or sti
ll doing it). All those who came abroad are those went to grad school. And n
ow only 3~4 of these are considering taking the board exam. Really not many
left China.

法的改革，至少99年入学之后的应该都不能在美考版了。
楼主的问题的确现在也没有特别的捷径（结婚可能算一个？！），中国人来美签证比以
前稍微容易些了，但还没到大家可以申请个学校可以来面试的程度。而且有个别学校（
别问我是哪个学校，但是真的）在审phd申请材料的时候，如果看到是医学院毕业的，
直接筛掉，因为学生中途跑了的确会影响dean的业绩，再说中国学生的申请也是太多让
他们觉得很受宠。phd应该都有全奖吧（否则太不值了），虽然钱数当然是多少差得挺
多。经济宽裕的话就申请自费的master好了，不用考GRE，多数专业还有秋季和春季两
个入学。
kawalee说的也对，“现在PhD之内拿到GC的机会不多，到头来毕业时去做临床不是还得
H1 or J1吗？”，所以要真的想出来当医生，就别想太多了，只能“曲线救国”了。这
个话题太复杂，越说越不知道自己说的是什么了。 |

A. Quit 8-year program and come with a BM degree by the end of 6th yeara (it
used to be the 5th year when I was in the 7-year program, those were the
good days).
B. Definitely apply for a PhD program of some sort and study here. I don't
remember applying for PhD program was so hard, quite a few of my classmates
quitted the 7-year program and applied for PhD program w/o any research
background. Everybody got offer and came here by the |

According to CMG physician website, approximately 600 graduates of Beiyi are
practicing in the States. Do you mean that the majority of them graduated
from the Basic Medical Science school? Do you mean that their degrees are
elligible for certification by ECFMG? And I think it is still very difficult
for them to practice medicine even if their degrees are recognized, since
they had only one year of clinical experience in school. |

is not recognized here in the US at all, at least i have to put my shegn1
chan3 shi2 xi2 in to the "clerkship" category. they only care if you
received all those educations on basic medicine courses and medical courses
- now they probably change their strategy (my hunch, no offial confirmation)
, they probably also look at the clerkship listed in your transcripts, just
to verify if you are eligible to practice medicine i
