registration for the exam.
Complete the on line 186 form, sign in front of the public notary and affix
a photograph of yourself on this 186 form; Complete the form 344, 345( 2
copies for 345); Put all these forms together with your bachelor of medicine
certificate copies (2 copies) with translation and one extra photograph in
one package and send it back to your medical school. The official in your

发帖数: 56 | 3 I called ECFMG this morning about my invalid 186 submitted before May. She
told me I just need to send 186 to the medical school and I don't need to
send 344, 345 and photoes to school since they are already in ECFMG. After
they got my ECFMG, they will process the exam permit. But for the new
application, as you described above, the safe way is to send all the
documents to school and ask school send back to ECFMG. | e*********r
发帖数: 221 | 4 Amymama, this is my first time to apply the exam, and I got the exactly same info from rep of ecfmg this noon via phone, as what you got. But i did not ask if 187 is necessary to send to medical school. In my understanding it should be sent to medical school.
Another concern is my degree. The Chinese version is ""临床医学 专业 学习, .....符合...标准....授予医学学士学位". The English version translated by our medical college is "study in the specialty of clinical medicine ..... confer degree of bachelor of medicin | A*****a

after I get my tranlsation.
I also think form 187 is needed. If I can not get through the phone line for
ECFMG about this issue, I will just inclide 187 with other forms together
send them bacl to my school.

发帖数: 56 | 9 gibbon, in my IWA now have two types of form 186. one is "medical school"
and another one is "notary pulic and medical school" . The "notary public"
one I used on April was gone. I called ECFMG and told me although the
announcement came out on MAy, it will affect all the applicants whose
verification was not finished after Aug 2008......I am not sure this is true
or not. And also the problem is many medical school don't know this new
role for the application and definitely will slow down the pr |
