如果考试都能过,准备EAD申请. 但不知在9月申请时就要办好EAD身份呢, 还是明年3月
万一match上了再申请也行?
因为EAD每年都要重新申请,几百块有点肉痛.

application they will ask you what kind of visa you have and what kind of
visa you will use in residency. That will be a very painful choice if you
don't have it ready. If you say you are currently on H-1, some careless
administrator will throw out your application. You will feel bad about it no matter you lie or not

I think when to use EAD depends on what kind of visa you are on now.
If you are a student, you can use OPT (a type of EAD) to get into the
program for the first year. Since it is good for only 1 year, You have to apply
for it 3 months before the date you want to start.
eg. The program starts on July 1st, while you are able to graduate and you
want to use EAD by Jun 15th, Then apply for it through international office
of your school on or after March 15th.
