company have one but I never saw someone got publishable images in ESEM mode.

可以用esem
Why you need a ESEM? the resolution is horrible, even for micron size. Our
company have one but I never saw someone got publishable images in ESEM mode.

sth. like like 50 to 200 times, that's enough.
The problem for high or low vaccum SEM on those tooth sample is that the tooth
protein will shrink, so it create artifacts.

inappropriate preparation of your sample.
We use ESEM because the tissues containing water will explode under low
vaccum. Now we use critical point dryer to extract water before SEM. You might
try it instead.
