Personally, I think the major drawback of Flory polymer solution
theory is the interaction parameter, whose physical meaning is so unclear and
difficult to deduce from chemical structures .
Actually, Huggis' theory is a little bit different on describing the polymer-
solvent interactions. Welcome further comments.
【在 t*g 的大作中提到】 : 优点和缺点都是太简单。

solution structure and mean field
approximation should weight most in
its inherent deficiency.
EOS theory corrects for another major
simplication of FH, free volume effects.
FH is nicely simple yet with
quite admirable success for descriptions
of real world---oversimplified expressions
for entropy and enthalpy cancle the errors
of each other.
Within the lattice model of FH, I thin it
is not so useful to give an very accurate
yet complicated(probably)expression
