PositionDescription – Mechanical Engineer
The position isforfulltime employment working in the construction design
departmentto take projects
fromthe conceptual design phase to final issue for construction plans and
specifications by providing
mechanical engineering supportforthe upgrade of existing and/orinstallation
of new HVACmechanical
systems atO’Hare and Midway International Airports. The successful
candidate will be working under
direction ofsenior designmanagement atO’Hare International Airport.
Position Requirements
We are seeking an entry levelmechanical engineer with a BS/BA Mechanical
Engineering degree and 1
to 3 years of experience inHVAC andmechanical plant piping systems design.
Candidatemust provide 3
relevantreferences. Exposure to the City of Chicago Building Code and
recommended/required
specificationsin publication bymechanical industry associationsisrequired.
AutoCADand BIM
experience is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Fulltime employment with salary range between $52,000 and $62,000.
100% paid premiumsfor PPO Medical andDental Insurance Coverage.
Paid TimeOff: 10 vacation days and 5 personal/sick days per calendar year.
