Primary Job Functions:
- Contribute to physics-based modeling and fast numerical simulation of
fluid and gas flow in porous media or wellbore
- Work within cross-disciplinary teams to develop, validate, test, and
deploy software products
- Plan and steward individual projects and present results
Job Requirements:
- Research experience in one or more of the following areas: reservoir
simulation, computational multiphase fluid dynamics, modeling of flow in
porous media
- Research experience in numerical methods development and linear/non-linear
solver development
- Strong background in programming with C, C++ or Fortran
- Strong applied math, engineering and applied research skills
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills
