Famed figure skater Michelle Kwan's husband, Clay Pell, has filed for
divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, TMZ reports.
The two-time Olympic medalist, 36, and her former White House National
Security staffer husband, who TMZ reports wants Kwan to foot his lawyer fees
, married in January 2013 in Rhode Island, where Pell once ran
unsuccessfully for governor.
Kwan, the most decorated figure skater in U.S. history, has taken an
interest in public policy since her retirement from the ice. After
graduating with a master's degree in international relations from Tufts
University in 2011, Kwan served as a surrogate outreach coordinator for
Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign. |
