West LA. The Chinese Language Instructor will be developing curriculum and
instructing students of various levels and backgrounds. Since we offer
classes at the client’s site as well, the actual teaching place may vary.
Salary is 25 to 50 per hour DOE.

Job Qualifications:
1. Native fluency in Chinese Mandarin;
2. Master’s Degree or above in Chinese Linguistics, Chinese Literature,
Foreign Language Education, Asian Studies or a closely related field; Phd
preferred;
3. High proficiency level in English; a deep understanding of American
culture;
4. At least two years’ experience in teaching Chinese as a second language
in a classroom setting;
5. At least two years’ experience in curriculum development for Chinese
materials;
6. Knowledge of current teaching methodologies and practices in teaching
Chinese language in the U.S..
Only candidates who have met all qualifications above will be considered.
