就需要从solana beach下车。不知道怎样才能到公司。听说有公司提供的shuttle。不

因家庭问题暂时不能搬家，也在san diego版问了，主要是因为从irvine出发，因此想

manager about it when you get hired, just a thought.
Anyways, QCOM will pay 25% of your train ticket, the rest will mostly be pre
-tax so it's actually a good deal considering the high fuel price. Your
monthly metrolink pass allows you to take Amtrak as well between the two
points which gives you some flexibility in schedule.
It takes about an hour on Metrolink -> Oceanside, then local coaster line to
Sorrento Valley. You could either park an old beater car at that station (
parking fee can be pre-tax as well) or take the company shuttle to main QCOM
campus. I've known many that have done it, since you can sleep, eat or read
a book on the train without the stress of traffic or work, you might
actually enjoy it.
I personally take the metrolink from SGV -> Irvine daily + a little bicycle
ride, and it works out just fine. | b*******n

发帖数: 3066 | 12 I usually take the metrolink, but if it's running late or the Amtrak is
early, I'll hop on the Amtrak for part of the way then catch my connecting
metrolink train at a bigger station. Sorry, I don't work in San Diego, but
I know many that commutes to QCOM from Irvine. I commute from Norwalk to
Irvine, but I've taken the Amtrak to Solana Beach, then drive to SD and it's
a pretty smooth ride.
Your Option 1 :
Sorrento Valley---Oceanside (coaster)
Oceanside---Irvine (Metrolink or Amtrak)
Then Shuttle or Drive to Work
Your Option 2:
Solana Beach --- Irvine (Amtrak)
Then Drive to Work.
Check out the rail2rail schedule, this will show you all your options
between Oceanside and Irvine.

For Irvine -> Solana Beach on Amtrak, you'll need to get the Amtrak monthly

Thanks a lot for your detailed information. Right now I live in Cerritos (
close to Norwalk), and am considering moving to Irvine.
Yes, I am planning to check with the hiring manager about the working
options. Hopefully I don't need to go to San Diego all the time.
