接着昨天问，在洛杉矶买二手车，10年corolla 8K迈，可以在selling price写1000么
？DMV那边会不会觉得车太新了有点怀疑呢？
朋友大多数买5年以前的旧车，似乎没有问题，但是我这个车感觉是不是新了点？
selling price $1000 or gift value?因为seller要回国了，所以万一出问题人都找不到~
另外四年一下的车Transfer title是不是不需要smog check?

发帖数: 14 | 2 写1000刀或者gift都没有问题，DMV不会去纠缠这个。
看dmv网页的FAQ，你的车应该不需要smog certificate。

When a car is sold, who is responsible for the inspection?
The seller is required to provide the buyer with a valid smog inspection
certification at the time of the sale or transfer. Smog certifications are
good for 90 days from the date of issuance.
The inspection is not required on a transfer if a biennial smog
certification was submitted to DMV within 90 days prior to the vehicle
transfer date (a vehicle inspection report may be required for proof of
certification).
NOTE: Smog certifications are not required for transfers that occur for a
gasoline powered motor vehicle that is four or less model years old. (
Determine the oldest-qualifying year model by subtracting three from the
current year) the four or less model years old rule does not apply to diesel
powered vehicles. A smog transfer fee will be collected from the new owner.
