book the round trip ticket? It would be inconvenient if he plans to return

发帖数: 6094 | 7 最好买来回机票，回程可以open，这样买票时稍微贵点，但是回去日期没定可以随时决
定。
因为老人是来探亲的，你要给海关证明他不会留在美国，如果是能说英文的能自己跟海
关沟通的还好，不会说英文的老人最好还是不要给他们添麻烦了，LA海关确实有时候很
变态。。。

1. CBP没有针对访客必须持RT机票的规定，但CBP有权在入境时要求他出示回程机票，如
果没有的话，可能会被质疑逗留的时间，有可能会被送SECENDARY INSPECTION，给邀请
人打电话要求解释或凭主观给个比较短的时间。
2. 有的航空公司，比如国泰，在香港出发，中国护照B1/2，只有单程，很可能不给上飞
机。因为在IATA的签证数据库里有如下的提示：Warning: - Visitors not holding re
turn/onward ticket and documents required for return or onward destination c
ould be refused entry. 因此按照这一条，航空公司有权拒绝没有往返机票的人登机，
SO FAR，只听过国泰这么干过
3. 如果不放心的话，可以定一张FULLY REFUNDABLE的返程机票，入关后CANCEL掉REFUN
D就好。另外，如果只使用单程的话，如果你FIL英语不好，最后写一封入关信，解释一
下，以免让他在入关时着急。

票都在电脑里呢， 给你护照和签证自己查去，结果就进来了。
