因最近要周六上课， 周六那个比较容易的没空去了， 想参加这个。
我的脚怕走久了会痛，有些顾虑，有几个问题：
1. 是不是一定要走完全程？
2. 如果走不完全程，自己往回走，会不会迷路？
另外，我打算开车，如果有住在东区（diamond bar, walnut,或者北边的城市的同学，
我们可以carpool.请站内联系。 |

但是那你就要自己开一辆车到trailhead了，
或是你可能要等很久。
一般不会迷路，但最好带个GPS。

我建议你自己开车到B点。
或是你愿意等我们爬完全程一起下山，可能等的时间会比较长。

If you have Garmin's, use Base Camp，export GPX file to the unit, then you
are good to go. But Old Baldy trail is very good trail to follow itself,
most likely you don't even need it if you are just doing Baldy.

他不是设计给爬山用的。
就算可以装地图，你也没法用。

我用的是magellan explorist 500基本算是古董了，
羊的那个比较好。

summit Baldy, on the way back we can tag West Baldy then down Old Baldy
trail.
12 miles, 6500' ft elevation gain. |

刚买的爬山的GPS是没有详细地图的，基本不能用。不过你命好，我刚好有一套，不怕
跑就到我家来拿吧，我家在alhambra, 记得带一个10G以上的外接硬盘或是u盘。

Final Stats: 13.05 miles, 6000' ft elevation gain
Did not go to Lookuut Mountain as originally planned, instead we tag West
Baldy on our way back and tried to look for airplane wreckage off West Baldy
，but that too went unsuccessful, but great views of Iron Mountain and San
Antonio Ridge was well worth.
Thanks for organizing, great hike, as always. |

I thought you were looking for the C-46 wreck on the north slope, since you
went to west baldy.

off the north slope. i will not go down 1000ft unless I know for certain of
the location of the wreckage, do you know exact where it is at?

of West Baldy. For example, if you look at the this page, second picture.
It looks like the slope is along the Devil's Back Bone instead of West Baldy
?
