_LIVE will detect most of the current custom firmware versions and ban this
machine's serial # from the live network.
So, as long as you don't need to play on the network, flash it, otherwise,

my xbox 360 has problem with the dvd drive and gets stuck in game loading,
so i love to download games to the hard drive and play directly from
there.
