American Express is selling its exclusive Costco portfolio to Citi.
Last February, American Express announced the end of the exclusive
cobranding agreement on grounds that it couldn't find a deal that made
better economic sense. The end of the deal was slated for this March.
For over a decade, shoppers could only use American Express credit cards at
Costco.
In a statement Monday, American Express confirmed that it had sold the
portfolio to Citi. The sale is expected to close in June, and all Costco
customers with cobranded American Express cards will be transferred to Citi.
American Express could earn up to $1 billion from the sale, according to the
statement.

的reward program。
不过从4月1号推迟到6月份，AmEx还能继续再用几个月。

管理，所以每张卡都很针对性，有我需要的东西。现在能找到没年费的VISA最好的也就
1.5%，FIDELITY需要额外账户的除外。
costco一不用AmEx，我估计把那张AmEx卡从钱包里拿出来放抽屉了，基本很少用。以后
VISA用的多了，现在值得重新找一张好的VISA。

，我上下班不开车，不关心这个。只根据自己花钱习惯选一两张合适的信用卡。
还有那个chase freedom的信息不准确，那卡好像不会消失，用户可以选择留在5％
quarterly category，也可以选择flat 1.5％.

higher, and so are the spending limits for gas purchases:
4% back on gas purchases at Costco and other gas stations (on up to $7,000
spent per year)
3% back on restaurants and most travel purchases
2% back at Costco and Costco.com
1% back on everything else
But you do have to redeem those rewards at Costco
