want to have tempered glass in the bathroom. The stupid previous homeowner
installed plain-glass window in the shower. It is fairly new, so I do not
want to pay for a new window. Would it be much cheaper to change glass only?

inspector insisted that it must be replaced with tempered glass. Otherwise,
I can't get occupancy permit.
Or where can I buy a fake sticker that says "tempered glass" just to pass
the inspection?

a fake sticker. labor cost around 50-100 to change a glass panel.

glass is not necessarily obscure, but it is shatter proof. Per the
inspection report, if the glass is labeled as "tempered glass", they would
treat it as tempered glass, because you can't visually tell a regular glass
from tempered glass.The easiest way is to get a fake sticker, but where to
get it is a question.

permit before they can move in. Previous inspectors never said anything
about the shower window being tempered glass, but this stupid jerk required
me to change my new window to tempered glass. Sigh!

excellent condition. I checked Lowe's. A small window like mine (41"H by 22"
W) but with tempered glass cost about $450.I just feel it is totally
wasting money and time for nothing.
