try a skunk. even a raccoon, you don't want to stand next to it within 10 ft

I bought a trap specifically for capturing the rabbit living next to my
vegetable bed. the first animal came to the trap was a skunk. I had to risk
my life to reopen the door and let it go, in that short minute, I was aimed
for a dozen times, fortunately it did not fire.
the next thing got trapped was a raccoon, I let it go again because I don't
think it was interested in my vegetables. However, it kept coming back, and
got trapped again, and again. On the third time, I was so tired, and decided
to exile it to a reservation nearby. in that trip, my whole car smelled
really bad. I had to let the windows and hatchback open for hours, still I
can smell it in the next few days.
interestingly, the rabbit I wanted to catch has never been trapped once. It
ate my lawn 5ft from the trap, but never been lured by the food I put in the
trap. it was so smart.
