z****e 发帖数: 555 | 1 Hi, I signed up for FIOS and the Verizon technician came to the house and
installed the service. He drilled hole on the outside of the wall and pulled
the cable from outside to inside. I asked him to put the temporary cable on
one side of the house (which goes through bushes), he agreed. Everything
seems working OK.
The next day, another team came (they are the Verizon contractors, a
differrent company) installed underground pipes on my lawn. He also
installed a box on the outside of the wall. Supposed the temporary cable the
first technician installed will go inside the underground pipe and go
inside the house from the box.
The problem is, the second team put the pipes on the other side of the house
(not the path the temporary cable is sitting on right now). The second team
also installed a box on the wall at a different location (supposedly the
box should be at the same location where the first technician drilled a hole
).
To me, seems the second team made a mistake. They did not communicate with
the first technician, and put pipes/box at the wrong location.
The second team came out again, and moved the box to the hole the first
technician drilled.
The problem I have is that
(1) the pipe does not go on the path I wanted it to be (through the bushes).
With the current location, it damaged my lawn a lot more.
(2) It left some markers on the outside of the wall at the location it was
first installed
I talked with the second team and they think it does not matter. From their
point of view, they moved the box to the correct location and they have done
their job.
Should I press the issue with Verizon?
