发帖数: 47 | 1 The sewer pipe between the outside of the house and the street developed a
crack in it in 2005. This was closer to the house than to the street, and
the rain/ground water seeped out and flowed back into the basement on the
outside of the pipe when we had a heavy rain. We had the yard dug up, once
in 2005 and again in 2012. after Sandy, and the had both the pipe fully
repaired, and an extra thick seal attached on the outside, by an
infrastructure company. We have all of the receipts, documents, and the
names of the companies that performed this. In addition, we had the
basement double waterproofed, once when the house was built, and again in
2006. if memory serves, when we had the french drains and new sump pumps
installed. All of this fixed the problem (and then some). When we get back
, we can forward you PDF copies of these repair documents if needed.
Please feel free to forward this e-mail to whoever needs it. This is no
longer an issue. However, some of the old stains are still on the wall
under the sewer pipe from years ago.
