quartz还是大理石 （marble）。另一浴室用的是quartz. |

发帖数: 3319 | 7 多谢。这房子是要卖的，所以来请教到底哪种好，价钱都差不多，大理石的还便宜些。
如果大家都喜欢quartz,就买quartz了。浴室的其他材料都尽量买了好看大气的。瓷砖
都是西班牙和意大利的。

or any stone surfaces if you have to have them or bought a house with them.

sure. One thing is for sure they have low level radiation. But I would
never try my luck on this, especially with kids. For adults, go for it.
Radon is the greatest component of natural background radiation for U.S.
population. I am willing to believe it's mainly from the basement. So keep
basement well ventilated if you use it often. |

manageable. so is basement. just be aware and informed. but when buying or
renovating a house with large floors of marble/granite, need to consider
radiation.
radiation is everywhere, in our body, when the airplane in the sky, airport,
dentist office, on street in somebody just received pet scan/nuclear
medicine, etc. just be informed and be prudent to avoid unnecessary
radiation exposure/tests. |

airport,
to be aware is one thing, to properly assess the risk is another.
unfortunately for many people, radiation equals risk, no matter how
negligible it is compared to the environmental radiation that they have
already been exposed to.
strong radiation sources are heavily regulated in the US. if you do not have
a good reason you are exposed to one, don't worry about it.
