A 21-year-old woman bit her roommate early Tuesday morning during an
argument at their south Athens apartment that began when the suspect didn’t
like a meal the victim served.
The suspect, Zhenni Guo, also punched her roommate during the altercation at
Surrey Square Townhomes on Riverbend Parkway, Athens-Clarke police said.
“(The victim) stated that Zhenni did not want to eat noodles, but that was
all she had to offer Zhenni,” an officer wrote in a police incident report.
“(She) said that Zhenni was being very disrespectful to her by talking
very loudly in front of her roommates and this made her feel very
embarrassed.”
After the victim asked Guo to leave, Guo punched her two times in the
shoulder. Police said she then grabbed the victim’s arm and bit twice.
The victim drove herself to Athens Regional Medical Center, where she told
police, “There was so much blood on the floor.”
Officers noted bite marks on her inner forearm and another on her finger.
When questioned about another bite mark on her hand, the victim replied, “(
Guo) bit me there yesterday,” according to the incident report.
The victim is a student at the University of Georgia.
Guo apparently drove to the hospital after the assault. That’s where police
said they found her.
She was arrested and charged under the state Family Violence Act with
battery after police said she admitted to punching and biting the 23-year-
old victim.
Despite receiving bail, Guo remained at the Clarke County Jail as of Tuesday
afternoon. |
