this is not for modern style at all. modern styled carpets are either pure
color, or geometrical patterns, in many cases.

is not bad either if it's really a high quality one.
the next question you want to ask the seller is if this is vege dyed. It
looks to me that this one is chemical dyed (usually the seller would state
it is vege dyed as it's a big selling point), if it's chemical dyed, it will
only worth half of that price at most for a used rug. Only a vege dyed
hand knotted rug can be called as antique, else it's used! I could be wrong
since it's hard to tell from the picture. |

it is 50 years old. Is this kind of old rug good for usage?

最好在店里看配套的家具效果。一般bank wire都有比较大的折扣的。

generations. but this one, I would say, not worth the money. this is wool
on cotton foundation, a new one like this should cost about $2500 to $3000.
I would pass unless you can chop the price significantly or you really love
this design.

will have a possibility in this category. actually those rugs that will
value up are very few. Most high quality rugs will hold up their values
pretty well, but that's it. it's not gold or diamond anyway
I can't believe you can't find quality rugs locally, there should be plenty
rug dealers in any metro area.
