1. Range & Oven & Microwave
几个选择：
A。 36 wolf range with oven， （deal now $4000） + another oven ($2500)
stack with microwave on the side.
pro: cheap, stylish
con, no double oven discount($1000 more for a good one).
B. 48 Wolf/viking range top only. ($4000 or so) Double oven ($3500)+
microwave.
Pro: double oven is pretty and can have a lot more options like steam and
dehydrate.
Con: not traditional since there are two big pan drawer under the rangetop
since not oven under. not everyone like it.
C: 48 wolf/viking range + 1big+1 small oven together. ($10000)
pro: really pretty and normal looking. save space.
con: expensive, no double oven with all the fancy functions,
Also Anyone recommend brand and model that has these functions:
1. Double ovens have steam function or dehydrate.
2. Microwave that has steam function.(Are these good enough to compare
with the oven version?)
2Fridge
We have one small kid and might want another one if possible. Cook often.
A Subzero 48’ inch $11000 with ice dispenser.
B. GE profile 48’ inch $8000
C Non building version of 42’ fridge $3000-$4000.
3. DishWasher。
We want stainless Steel one for easy cleaning.
Any brand has UV lamps ? I only saw a thermadator one for $2200. Too
expensive.
4. Washer and Dryer.
Any recommendation with steam function. Front load only. (27’?)
5. Hood
If we select 48 rangetop , 神器3代能用吗？ 而且俺们要外面套个hood。
So the shape/color of the hood does not matter. |

I am confused, if you have a build-in kitchen (as indicated by sub-z fridge)
, you should consider cooktops, not ranges. It also does not make much sense
to consider double-oven if you do not have a build-in kitchen.
if you have space, get a separate fridge and a freezer. The freezer does not
have to be inside the kitchen. You will get more space, better energy
efficiency and no cross-talks of food smells.
48" cooktop/range is overkill for a small family unless it has other cooking
features such as a grill, deep-fryer or steamer. In that case, you'd better
to have a large ventilation hood, or two vents to make sure it covers the
entire cooking surface.

cooktop can be modular, I have the Gaggenau Vario cooktops. You can combine
them as many as you want:

but, do you really need a 48" cooking surface? I have 6 burners, 4 gas, 2

it is just a cabinet. I have two down-draft vent units in my cooktop, so
there are two external blowers underneath the countertop. Otherwise, I have
the regular storage space and some gas pipes hidden in the cabinet.

一般家庭完全够用。42”除非豪宅，否则没用而且占地方。

Rangetop是厚， 但是按钮在侧面， cook 平面大，
Cooktop绝对没有48的。

间、光线、cabinet的设计不匹配，不见得会完全实现它们的价值。这一点上咨询
design center还是有意义的。

很少有人要求一个cooktop unit就是48in长，只要是modular cooktop，你就可以随意
组合，愿意搞多长就多长。比如wolf也有modular cooktop，你随便拿３、４个组合一
下就超过48"了

cooktop薄、功率小应该也是偏见，cooktop可以跟range的performance一样或者更好，
唯一的差别是它是跟countertop更紧密地结合，功能更单一。因为build-in的厨房一般

冰箱你那个不是build in的， 42的。 如果不是像俺家这样天天做饭的， 也够了。

design show room我去看过挺漂亮的，在merchandise mart也有展厅。
