router, but it was not very stable if you have multiple devices connecting
to it and streaming videos a lot. So I ended up returning it to Amazon. I
think among those 2k+ reviews from Amazon, many of them are "tuo". The
problem of this router is if somehow you reached the bandwidth of 150M (
maybe less), it freezes without intelligently allocating the load.

amazon that baby doesn't like and they are still sitting around...
The service we subscribed from comcast is 24mbps downstream and 3mbps
upstream. So I guess we would not come close to 150mbps... I know a lot of
amazon reviews are fake, but would rather give it a try. If it doesn't work
out... what's the current router you are using?

24mbps is total WAN speed to outside.
you might try speedtest.net to check your actual WAN speed from time to time
from you wireless devices.
yes, it's easy to return to amazon (if a product doesn't work properly,
amazon pays return shipping, otherwise you'll pay the return shipping).
right now I have a 5 year old linksys wrt54g (I disabled wifi) hooked to my
cable modem.
I have 50mbps WAN speed from comcast. I set up multiple Wireless access
points using some belkin routers, such as Belkin N600, F7D7301 (dd-wrt) and
F7D7302 (dd-wrt). I might eventually hook the F7D7301 directly to my cable
modem. From each of my wireless AP hooked to Moca coax eithernet adapter, I
got actual 20Mbps to 30Mbps WAN speed from SpeedTest.net. So it's very
smooth for me to watch 1080p netflix and youtube on my 60" tv.
