yourself just because you want to save some money. There are many agents
out there willing to accept a flat fee and return most of the commission
back to you since you already found the house. So, ask around and find an
agent.
To answer your question about the ernest money, it is usually no more than 1
% of your purchasing price. If $1500 is less than 1% then is reasonable.
There are many details on the contract you need to pay attention and
negotiate, such as who pay for the title insurance, who pay for the escrow,
etc, those add up to thousands of dollars. So an experienced agent can
