大理石counter的角上，木块立刻出现了小凹洞，这个对于实木家具来说正常么？我也
试着把木头在counter角上敲了敲，挺轻的，同样出现了小凹洞。木头这么软么？ |

木外面包了一层桦树薄皮？还是说这个家具一部分是红木，别的部分是软木+桦树薄皮？
Veneer只是表面一层皮，对力量比较小的划伤可能有些抵抗力，如果用石头去碰，基本
上不能起到保护作用。多少钱买的，让大家判断一下是不是真的红木家具。

just a little better.
Mahogany various a lot. Some are good (mostly from south america) and some
are very cheap (from vietnam, etc.). Costco is definitely use the cheap one.

furnitures (absolutly better than Costco, roomplace, etc). We are looking
for high quality furnitures and are going to north carolina to buy them.

about the same price as costco, but the delivery and pick up is easier with
costco, so......
interesting, I heard the other way, some ppl on Huaren had bad comments on
ashley's quality. may be ashley has different levels and price range.

发帖数: 1052 | 24 一般说，高档家具比较少全部用Mahogany。Mahogany的好处是如果要刻花纹的话，不容
易裂。所以装饰性的花纹处会用Mahogany。
北美的高档家具用cherry和maple是最多的。maple里大概有5%是tiger maple。就像这
个网页里面的家具，木纹就像虎纹一样漂亮。

tiger maple的原木比普通maple贵一倍以上，所以tiger maple的家具一般是最贵的。
cherry的也很不错，而且随着年代，木色会慢慢变红。这种家具保养得当，用到时间越
久越显得漂亮。
Antique的家具也有walnut，walnut是好木头，但现在木匠不愿意用了，walnut在做之
前要先bleach，太耗时间。所以新家具一般没有。
costco，pottery barn，ashly之类的家具，都只是可以用而已。材料，做工都和真正
的好家具不着边。

invented to fool customers.
remember! only solid hardwood is real wood. solid must be in the front

costaco，value city，roomplace好点。完全个人意见。 可能costaco有更好的我没看
见？不过我是不在ashley买的，所以无所谓啦。
ashley算是非常烂的了,质量我觉得还比不上costco.
