The Hometown Education Foundation (HEF) is a charity devoted to helping poor
children in China stay in school. (Detailed info can be found at http://www.hometowneducation.org/).
There is an ongoing competition on facebook. Every charity ranked top 100 in
the voting will get $25,000. HEF is currently at the #52 position. The
