保Appliance，今天家里的GE Electronic Range里最大的那个Burner不Work了，想请教
一下Claim的过程及费用。以前看版上有人说不管修不修，只要有人到家就Charge 60块
，不知道我这种情况还要交什么钱。另外，这种平板的Electronic Range，有人自己修
过吗？不知道从哪里打开换Burner。谢谢了。 |

一次service request的deductible 几十块吧，看policy

发帖数: 522 | 5 谢谢楼上的各位，Range是包括在Appliance里面的，我已经打电话了，说是周四来看，
才能决定是否Cover，多少钱等。我在网上看很多说这家公司RP很差，常常找些理由告
诉不Cover，比如说使用不当，保养不好等等，好象版上有人说他家的空调被以安装位
置不对为由拒不Cover了。到时我再上来Update。 |

发帖数: 237 | 6 During my first year with the house, I also have AHS insurance by owner. The
water heater stopped working during the last month of the first year. I
called them, and they send someone here to check ($40 or $60 for the check-
up, non-refundable). Later, i was told it need to be replaced, and they
cover up to $650 for it. They recommedn a company, who asking for $850 for
the job, which means I need pay $200 out of my pocket. I turned down that
company and find someone else to finish it around $640.
In summary, $60 for the new water heater. |

发帖数: 79 | 7 You need to pay the service call fee (around $60) at least no matter they
will repair or not. Probably they will let you pay $180 (un)installation
fee if you want them to repair even the item is covered under warranty.
That's also my experience.
