ask for voip phone talk to people in China, on the other side of the
global, the bottle neck on the connection is not going to the network

不过没有好router的话，就算是3Mbps也不能同时用吧

just for example, kylinTV uses something like 0.8Mbps
never used italkbb. but used skype and other voice chatting programs when
playing games on 1.5Mbps and 3Mbps. they worked fine.
of course, higher bandwidth is better, but only if the server, or the
connection between china and usa is not the bottleneck

running games, and games have pretty low bandwidth demand

主要问题是你不要让其他的流量干扰语音通话。

g711 codec本身就要用80-100k带宽，还不包括其它sip和rtp packet overhead。加上
PPStream，你说够不够？
用G729也许够，但是要用好router做QOS

same time. anyway, called comcast and they gave me a six month promotion.
so i will live with the higher speed for a while. |
