BOA requests last two years' full signed tax returns (1040's). I can only
find the copy of 2009. BOA agent mentioned IRS.
Do I have to contact IRS for 2008 tax return? Or do I have to get these
documents for my loan pre-approve application?

You can either contact IRS to get your 2008 tax return, or you can authorize
BOA to contact IRS directly.
