The HOA fee really depends. My primary residence is only $110 per year. Some
could be ten times higher.
$100 HOA equals $20K house price. Just calculate it the same as you pay the
interest to the bank.
Generally speaking, people prefer live in an HOA. But, some HOAs could be
really corrupted and charge the residents way too much. An accountant in
our HOA directly transfered tens of thousands into her own account and
