MUD stands for Municipal Utility District.. Essentially, it's like the local
property tax in other places ( just roughly speaking).
And yes, the property tax is huge in Texas, as there is no state income tax | s*******1

个county都一样的。

Property tax vary from town to town. Actually, in most places, it's set by
your town, not your county.
