As far as I know, the gross profit of the furniture store can
be as high as 300% (4 times the original price). So if
they give you 50% off, still 100% gross profit (2 times).
I agree that $15K is not a big deal. Think about a Malibu (GM car)
worth $16609. If you have your own house, you have to buy a lot
of furniture. It is really a headache.
