计算型cc2.8xlarge 64个instance一年的Amazon cost,最便宜的是
$366k (3年contract,heavy use),最贵$1.345m (on demand),
而64个同型号nodes,硬件投资大概$350k,就是说一年后,基本就是
free ride了,当然,电费,空调,colo,人工这些没算在里面,但是
我老要指出的是,所谓的ultra low cost是不成立的。计算3年的refresh
rate的话,基本上全加上自己建能比Amazon省点,不多就是,5年refresh
rate的话,基本上自己建比Amazon要便宜。另外很重要的一点是,Amazon
的instance是virtualized出来的,性能比bare metal差出好几条街,除非
你不是做HPC的,high throughput啥不太在乎性能的话没啥影响,不然很
多程序能跑到你吐血。
