发帖数: 3 | 4 Gentoo uses FreeBSD-like ports system to manage packages, so you always
compile from source. More customizable as you are able to tweak the
compiling flags, but also takes more time... Arch mostly uses pacman. You
can install precompiled packages just like apt or yum. But Arch also has
ports-like system called abs.
I personally like Arch more -- lightweight, less work. But both are great
distros.

but the wireless driver does not work. So I just follow the instructions
from linuxwireless.org and it works.

i installed ubuntu 10.04 on acer netbook. everything works, except display
cannot operate at 1366x768.
