Yesterday when I was shutting down the computer, several messages popped up
on screen:
asking all remaining process to terminate...
deconfiguring network....
deactivating swap...
[1330, 0880441] buffer I/O error on device loop0, logical block 3924735
Then I had to press and hold the power button for a while to shut down.
Someone knows what the problem is? The system is Ubuntu 9.10

只用了vim，fortran，也许打开过firefox

bug in sysvinit. plz refer to that page
for more information. also there's a solution at #19 of that page, with
postive feedback.
