， 而System下面干脆一个小图标都没有，applications里面是好的。

this seems to delete too much staff...can u explain or have closer idea?

even u delete ~/.*, most of it will be recreated upon relogin.

发帖数: 791 | 5 sorry I did not say clearly. The system / is brand new, but /home is from my
previous distribution.
thus this command will erase many of my preference, but I agree that the
problem also resides in these files.
thus i appreciate if you can help pin down the exact problematic file/folder

but still the problem persists...

can't help u more, bro.
I used to install fedora from minimum w/o xwin, then only install necessary
packages such as gnome-desktop to keep away most gnome garbage from my
system.
i can share with u those info if u want to

very strange. I create a new user and log in, but see the same thing. But
the newly released fedora should not have this kind of problem. I still try
to find problems in my side.

really appreciate. I will surely keep in mind. Currently I am working under
fedora hence would prefer a complete version since i am not an expert...
