It’s the same old story. A new Ubuntu release, a new series of pain and
frustration.
Canonical releases a new version of Ubuntu every 6 months, come what may.
Unfortunately what most often comes is a system full of bugs, pain, anguish,
wailing and gnashing of teeth - as many “early” adopters of Karmic Koala
have discovered.
The problem is, Ubuntu makes Linux look bad. As more and more people make
the switch to free software this is not a good thing. Lin |

btw, what commerce is he talking about "release on time"?
besides, it's a joke to say Fedora is more succesful release...........

kwin is its composite manager.
If it keeps crashing, one way is not to enable it, another way is to use
compiz as its composite manager.

I don't see anything terribly wrong in that.
People normally wait for a few months before
upgrading to a new Windows release, and much longer
for corporate customers.
I do agree with most the rest of the article

So if it's reasonable to wait a year before upgrading windows, it
ought to also be reasonable to wait 2 months before upgrading
ubuntu. You know, both being 1/3 of the respective release cycle?
