work. is there anything i can do to solve this problem? i have been working
on this for several hours w/o success. any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I use the rdesktop command like the following to use remote desktop of
another Windows machine.
rdesktop ip-address-other-machine
Then a window on Linux will show up with the login window from Windows.
I am not quite sure whether or not this is your use case.

发帖数: 10612 | 3 thanks. problems solved. i installed 4 kinds of RDP client, none of them worked really well. (even though they all worked.) but this simple command works much better. anybody cares to tell me what is going on?
rdesktop a.b.c.d -f. YEH!
but another question follows. can i ask ubuntu to remember these commands, even after i have turned off the computer? memorizing these numbers could be quite a chore when i've got lots of them.

On the other hand, I believe most people here keep a note (in the form of a
small text file or a big searchable document) for those commands.
At this point, I am suspecting you are not a greenhorn at all. Just teasing
us for fun?
