Note 1. Jaunty users: If you are upgrading from Hardy or Intrepid, it is
highly recommended that you follow the guide to remove obsolete
configuration. If you have performed a clean installation, follow the guide
only if you are experiencing issues.
Note 2. Jaunty & Intrepid users: due to a bug in the ALSA libraries, your
